I am a senior citizen and live on 228th Place Southwest off of 14th Street. I am 68 and live next door to a lady who is 63. On the night of July 4th, we endured four straight hours of nonstop fireworks. It was like being in a war zone. It was coming from one street to the north of us where the residents were engaged in a block party. It was quite emotionally upsetting. Perhaps the city of Bothell would consider a time limit of one hour or banning it altogether and asking people to celebrate the 4th of July at a public place and keep it out of the residential neighborhoods. Should a few be allowed to do this without any consideration of others?
