A slow fourth quarter on offense cost the Bothell High School girls basketball team Wednesday, as they lost to Ballard 59-53 in Ballard.
Bothell began the game by building an eight-point lead. But the Beavers battled back and tied the game by the end of the third quarter. The Cougars ran out of offense during the fourth quarter, scoring just 11 points to Ballard’s 17 points.
Taya Corosdale led the Cougar offense with 16 points, while Hannah Tyndall had 12 points and Randi Dixon had 11 points.
