Chamberlin’s Team Pineapple closing in on $21,000 for Seattle MS Walk

Team Pineapple's goal was to raise $15,000, but Cara Chamberlin figures her team will hit over $21,000 for this year's Seattle MS Walk. The final amount will be tabulated after April 25, the last day for team members to turn in funds. Chamberlin, 30, who grew up in Kenmore, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in October of 2008. She and about 60 members of Team Pineapple participated in the MS Walk April 3 at University of Washington Husky Stadium. Team Pineapple members raised an average of $324. Of the hundreds of teams at the MS event, Team Pineapple finished in fourth place.
