Some bad behavior was reported Aug. 19 on a King County Metro bus in Kenmore where an unknown suspect spat at a bus driver.
Around 12:40 p.m. near Northeast Bothell Way and 68th Avenue Northeast a bus driver got into an argument with a passenger over the bus fare, according to King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Cindi West.
The argument was resolved and the bus continued on its route, but another passenger soon told the driver that “it’s too damn hot and it’s a good thing it wasn’t me you were arguing with over the fare, or I would have kicked your ass.”
The driver told the passenger to get off the bus and the passenger spit at the bus driver but missed him, West said.
The suspect was not located but was described as white male around 25-years-old wearing a blue shirt and jeans and a baseball hat.
