Emma Harmon, 4, and sister, Sienna, 2, were among the many children who chatted with one of the stars of the holiday season, Santa himself — Sean Shane-Kumler — after he arrived via fire truck at Kenmore’s tree-lighting ceremony Dec. 2. Outside Kenmore City Hall, in front of a crowd of a few hundred spectators, Santa helped Kenmore Deputy Mayor Milton Curtis light the city’s Christmas tree.

The free event also featured local choirs, holiday arts-and-crafts projects and refreshments.
