After losing to Lynden Christian, 50-39, Tuesday night on the road, the local Eagles will host Nooksack Valley at 7 p.m. Thursday in a loser-out 1A tri-district contest. If they win, they’ll play Saturday in a winner-to-state matchup at a time and place to be determined.

In a 50-41 win over Port Townsend last Saturday, Rachel Staudacher scorched the nets with 29 points for the Eagles (19-5 overall at post time).

• Taylor Peacocke led Inglemoor High with 17 points in the Vikings’ season-ending 66-53 loss to Eastlake High Tuesday afternoon in the 4A Kingco playoffs at Juanita High. Kelly Conroy had 13 points for the Viks.

In Saturday’s game, Peacocke poured in 23 points to lead Inglemoor past Roosevelt, 44-30. Conroy added 10 points for the Vikings (14-9 overall).

Inglemoor dropped its opening playoff game to Skyline, 53-46, Feb. 9. Peacocke led the Vikings with 20 points, 11 rebounds, five steals and four assists. Conroy added eight points.

Boys

Inglemoor’s boys ended their season with a 49-42 loss to Redmond in the 4A Kingco playoffs Feb. 11. Eric Bryant had 11 points for the Vikings (14-8 overall), followed by Brady Gregor, Jerry Molina and Andy Nwaelele with nine each.

• King’s defeated Cedar Park’s boys (10-14 overall), 64-52, on Saturday to end the Eagles’ season in the 1A tri-district playoffs. Victor Sviriduyk led the Eagles with 26 points, followed by Evan Scholten with 15.
