INTERFAITH EVENT ON TAP

An Interfaith Choir Festival will take place at 6:30 p.m. March 1 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 16500 124th Ave. N.E. Woodinville. The event is sponsored by the Northshore Interfaith Religious Leaders from Atammayatarama Buddhist Monastery, Bear Creek United Methodist Church, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cottage Lake Presbyterian Church, Congregation Kol Ami, Northshore United Church of Christ, Wooden Cross Lutheran Church and Woodinville Unitarian Universalist Church. A reception and refreshments will follow the program.

CAREY HONORED AT WSU

Kelsey E. Carey was awarded a Fall 2008 Distinguished Washington State University Academic Achievement in general education.

Carey graduated from Inglemoor High in 2008 and plans to graduate from WSU in 2012 with a degree in journalism.
