Cascadia Community College in Bothell is partnering with Everett Community College’s Corporate & Continuing Education Center to expand training for business and industry.
“This partnership allows us to bring highly regarded professional continuing education and training programs to our community in an accelerated time frame,” Cascadia President Eric Murray said. “The programs will serve working professionals, local corporations, and small businesses.”
The Corporate & Continuing Education Center will serve as the single point of contact for business and industry to access training designed and tailored to meet their workforce needs.
Courses will be offered at the Cascadia campus and can also be delivered on-site at local companies, tailored to meet their specific needs and goals.
“In the next few months, we will be reaching out to businesses and community groups in Bothell and surrounding communities to learn about their specific needs,” said John Bonner, Executive Director of the Corporate & Continuing Education Center, adding that they plan to develop new programs based on their study.
The Center currently serves more than 10,000 individuals each year with offerings in areas like Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Leadership, Information Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing and Small Business Acceleration. Personal interest courses are also available.
