At age 16 in 1966, Edu was the youngest player ever on a World Cup roster, and he also played on Brazil’s 1970 and 1974 World Cup teams. The 1970 Brazilian team, which won the title in Pele’s last World Cup appearance, is considered one of the best of all time.
