Gardening classes in April and May hosted by Northshore Utility

The Northshore Utility District and The Savvy Gardener have partnered to offer free gardening classes to area citizens.

The Northshore Utility District and The Savvy Gardener have partnered to offer free gardening classes to area citizens.

The upcoming classes are from 6:30-8 p.m. on April 21 where participants will learn about sustainable veggie gardens. learning how to create ones own food in a organic and sustainable urban garden.

On May 26, at the same time, where Pacific Northwest Flora is going to be looked at in depth. The class will cover how to use native PNW plants in to create a rich, and local, yard.

While the classes are free, interested parties are encouraged to reserve a spot early as the event is first come first served.

The classes will be held at the Northshore Utility District, located at 6830 NE 185th St. in Kenmore.
