Inglemoor beats Snohomish, qualifies for state; Viks, Bothell headed to Spokane | 4A State Fastpitch

Inglemoor High's Taylor Peacocke and Shelby Johnston led the way with their bats and Alyson Harrington got the win from the pitchers' circle in the Vikings' 9-4 winner-to-state victory over Snohomish High on Saturday.

Inglemoor High’s Taylor Peacocke and Shelby Johnston led the way with their bats and Alyson Harrington got the win from the pitchers’ circle in the Vikings’ 9-4 winner-to-state victory over Snohomish High on Saturday.

Peacocke had three hits, including a three-run homer, and Johnston had two hits and an RBI.

On Thursday, Inglemoor defeated Ballard, 9-1, and Newport, 7-0, in two loser-out games to set up the contest at Snohomish.

In the 4A state tournament in Spokane, Inglemoor will play Rogers (Puyallup) at noon this Friday at Merkel Field.

Bothell will play Bellarmine at 10 a.m. this Friday at Merkel Field.
