Residential burglary
A laptop computer and $60 in change were stolen when persons unknown broke into a home in the 24300 block of Fourth Place West. Police said the perpetrator(s) pried open a front door to gain entry. The total value of the missing items was given as $960.

Police reports aren’t clear as to whether the suspect was caught in the act, but whatever the circumstances, they say the person who broke into a home in the 500 block of 228th Street Southeast was a Caucasian man, 18 to 20 years old, thin with short brown hair. Reports said residents had not turned in a list of any items stolen. The suspect forced open a front door to gain entry.
Theft
A cell phone valued at $130 was reported stolen from a student, 14, at Skyview Junior High on 35th Avenue Southeast.

Police say the suspect walked into an unidentified business, filled a bag with $584 in DVD movies and simply left. The incident took place in the 22600 block of State Route 527.

Police say someone used a counterfeit $100 bill at the Shell Station on Northeast Bothell Way.

Police say someone stole a garbage can and a table off the front porch of a residence in the 18000 block of 68th Avenue Northeast.
Attempted burglary
According to police, the incident was reported Feb. 22, but apparently took place Feb. 17. Spotted by neighbors, the suspects were described as two Caucasian men, about 20. They allegedly removed a window screen in a failed attempt to gain entry into a home in the 6800 block of Northeast 149th Street.

Theft
Someone swiped a cell phone left on a table in the Kenmore Public Library. Police reports gave the value of the phone as over $250.
