City of Kenmore launches holiday food drive to support Hopelink

Help those in need this holiday season by donating nonperishable food items for the Hopelink food bank, serving Northshore and Kirkland residents, at the annual city of Kenmore food drive through Dec. 15.

Drop-off locations include Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Ave. N.E., and Grocery Outlet, 7806 N.E. Bothell Way. Cash and food donations will be accepted at Kenmore City Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities. Hopelink’s mission is to promote self-sufficiency for all community members; they help people make lasting change. Over the past 18 months, Hopelink has seen nearly a 50-percent increase in demand at their food banks.
