Bothell High and Inglemoor High dropped into loser-out situations after Tuesday night’s 4A Kingco boys basketball playoff openers.

And it will be a Northshore matchup between the Cougars and Vikings at 3 p.m. Friday at Juanita High to decide which local team advances in the playoffs.

On Tuesday, Lake Washington defeated Bothell (10-11 overall), 57-53. Dominic Ballard led the Cougs with 20 points.

In other action, Garfield downed Inglemoor (12-9 overall), 73-54. Eric Bryant led the Viks with 17 points.
