More than 400 representatives of Snohomish County companies, nonprofits, school districts and government agencies celebrated the close of the 2011 Community Caring Campaign, benefiting United Way of Snohomish County, at a March 6 event in Everett.
Local award winners were Bothell’s Philips Healthcare (LIVE UNITED Award) and Bothell’s CMC Biologics (Local Community Hero Award, medium-sized company). Agilent Technologies (which employs Bothell resident Jim Litz, board chair for United Way of Snohomish County) also won a Local Community Hero Award, small company.
Sue Ambler, CEO of the Snohomish County Workforce Development Council and 2011 campaign chair, lives in Bothell.
