Westbound SR 520 to close the next three nights, July 28-31

Anyone who wishes to reach Seattle via State Route 520 this week should prepare for multiple overnight closures of the highway’s westbound lanes across Lake Washington.

Anyone who wishes to reach Seattle via State Route 520 this week should prepare for multiple overnight closures of the highway’s westbound lanes across Lake Washington.

July 28-31

· Starting tonight and repeated Tuesday and Wednesday nights, both westbound lanes of SR 520 will close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard.

· Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will use the lane closures to continue pouring concrete for the deck of the new West Connection Bridge.
