Northshore School District is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Curriculum Materials Adoption Committee (CMAC). Applicants must be a parent or community member in the Northshore School District. This is a voluntary, three-year term position appointed by the superintendent.

Northshore School District is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Curriculum Materials Adoption Committee (CMAC). Applicants must be a parent or community member in the Northshore School District. This is a voluntary, three-year term position appointed by the superintendent.

CMAC is responsible for ensuring the selection of appropriate instructional materials for Northshore School District students is conducted in a professional manner by a deliberative body of teachers, administrators and parent/community members. Members must be committed to meeting applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the learning goals and standards of the state and district. The committee makes recommendations for approval of core and supplementary materials to the Northshore School District Board of Directors.
