The Inglemoor girls basketball team exacted some revenge Saturday by beating one of two teams to defeat the Vikings during the regular season.

The 58-33 win against Issaquah was made more sweet by the fact that it pushes the Vikings into the finals of the 4A KingCo tournament against Skyline.

Inglemoor ran out to a slim two-score lead during the first quarter but then took control during the second quarter by outscoring the Eagles 16-2.

Issaquah showed some life during the third quarter, eating into the lead by four points. But the fourth quarter marked the end of the comeback, as the Vikings outscored their opponents 18-8 during the final eight minutes of play.

Inglemoor’s Deja Strother led the team with 20 points, while teammates Jordan Price had 13 and Chalayia Fuller scored 12.

The win avenged a 59-50 regular-season loss to the Eagles on Jan. 9.

Inglemoor will take on Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Juanita High School. The Vikings beat the Spartans 45-40 on Jan. 16.
