The city of Kenmore is gearing up for a fun-filled summer with free events for the whole family.

City events this summer include the 4th of July Fireworks Show at Log Boom Park, Kenmore Summer Concert Series at Saint Edward State Park, which six consecutive Thursday evenings starting July 11, and Kenmore Play Day at Rhododendron Park on Aug. 10.

Volunteers are needed to help the city produce these popular community events. Volunteer positions include helping with children activity areas, event set up and take down, event information tables, parking areas, hospitality and more.
