Local organizers are expecting another record breaking event for the Puget Sound Day of Service. Volunteers are gearing up to work on Sept. 12 at Food Lifeline of Shoreline, to collect donations for Ronald McDonald House in Seattle and on Sept. 8 to donate a pint to Blood Works Northwest, formerly Puget Sound Blood Center.
The Northshore Interfaith Alliance is sponsoring the blood drive and just celebrated its 20th anniversary.
