The Bothell High School boys basketball team defeated Juanita Friday night, 65-48, during the Bothell Christmas Tournament held at Bothell High School.
The Cougars began the game with strong defense, allowing just four first-quarter points. But Juanita turned it around during the second quarter by cutting an 11-point deficit to just three points, 24-21.
But Bothell ran the floor during the third quarter, scoring 26 points and leaving the Rebels down 19 points heading into the fourth period.
Bothell’s Josh Martin led all scorers with 24 points, while teammate Peyton Cordova-Smith contributed 17 points.
