The Arlington High School girls soccer team didn’t waste the trip to Pop Keeney Stadium Tuesday, blowing out Bothell 8-1.

The Cougars were competitive during the first 50 minutes of the contest, falling behind 2-0 before scoring a goal. Madison Hommer scored Bothell’s only goal of the game to open the second half.

But Arlington would run away with the game, scoring four second-half goals.

Bothell will take on Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at Pop Keeney Stadium.
