It was a long bus ride to Memorial Stadium in Renton on Friday but a longer one back to Cedar Park Christian, as the Eagles lost to Renton High School 40-13.

Renton pulled out to a 23-6 halftime lead and never looked back.

No individual results were reported.

Cedar Park will regroup to host South Whidbey for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 20 at Juanita High School in Kirkland.
