Northshore School District Superintendent Larry Francois is giving a presentation Thursday on three ballot measures for the Feb. 11 special election.
This is an opportunity for the community to receive facts about the measures and ask questions. The event is at 7 p.m. at Canyon Park Junior High School is located at 23723 23rd Ave. S.E., Bothell.
The Renewal Education Operations Support Levy would renew an expiring levy that provides 23 percent of the district’s budget for daily operations and educational programs. The Capital Projects Bond would construct a high school in the north end of the district to addess significant enrollment growth and allow the district to move ninth-graders to high school, complete the renovation of Woodinville High School (Technology building and gym), make districtwide security improvements and complete districtwide projects to support classroom learning. The Renewal School Technology Levy would renew an expiring levy to continue to provide technology to students and training to enhance classroom learning.
