The Bothell High School girls tennis team swept singles play against Sammamish on Monday, winning the meet 5-2.

Colleen Byrne of Bothell beat Tina Liu, 6-1, 7-6 in No. 1 singles, while teammate Erica Takano defeated Min Yang, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. Cougar Rachelle Wharf beat Ha Nguyen, 6-4, 6-2, while teammate Naemi Herzog defeated Maha Ghandour, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles play, Bothell’s Baylee Bisendon and Jana Phipps earned the only victory by beating Donna Ganbaator, Jama Gantugla, 7-6, 6-2.
