The Inglemoor boys basketball team can’t win the Crest Division title but they know that every game counts for seeding in the 4A KingCo post-season tournament.

The Vikings picked up a big win Saturday night at home, defeating Eastlake 76-63, to take control of second place in the Crest Division.

The game was a battle, going back and forth, during the first half. Inglemoor began the contest on fire, building a 23-13 lead. But Eatlake matched the home team’s effort with a 24-15 second-quarter advantage, trailing by just one point at halftime.

But the second half belonged to Inglemoor, as they found consistency with 20 third-quarter points and 18 fourth-quarter points to pull away for the win.

Four players finished with double-digit point totals for the Vikings: Chris Bryant (24 points), Brendan Lauck (18 points), Cooper Danby (16 points) and Trey Miller (14 points).

Inglemoor now has a one-game lead on Eastlake and a two-game lead on Woodinville for second in the division.
