The City of Kenmore, Mary’s Place and King County are partnering in an effort to bring a 24-hour resource center and family shelter to Kenmore.
The organizations are inviting the public to a community meeting on June 8 to learn more about the shelter, proposed to be located in the vacant King County Sheriff’s precinct at 18118 73rd Ave. N.E. in Kenmore.
Information will be provided about the services that Mary’s Place provides and how the organization is working to address the homelessness crisis in the region. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Ave. N.E.
